Pledge to Sustainability
Our foresters, based around the Great Lakes area, practice sustained yield forestry management. The green lumber they produce is transported to our sawmills in America's basswood country, Grayling, Michigan. Distinct for its rigidity, lightweight attributes, and rich grain pattern, basswood is North America's premier hardwood for constructing elegant blinds.
Notably, our wood processing plant is environmentally friendly. Recycled sawdust and timber shavings are used to generate heat for drying the lumber and to warm the facility.

Styles:
Standard panel – rectangular-shaped panel covering the window fully, installed using any frame style.
Cafe – This classic covers the bottom part, allowing the light to enter from above while maintaining privacy.
Bypass track system – Perfect for closet doors or patio where the panels slide on the track, which is attached to the frame or is mounted directly to the window casing.
Double-hung shutter – Top and bottom shutters hang in the same window but function separately. Where the top is opened for light and the bottom ensures privacy.
Arch or angle top panels – Whole window solutions that fit the round shape of the full arch, windows, or slanted windows
French doors – Mounted French doors to curved or rectangular cutouts are perfect for door knobs or handles.
Sunburst arches – Sunburst patterned louvers cover unique window silhouettes such as eyebrows and epitomical arches.
Louver Sizes:
2 1/2" - Traditional style for small windows and cafe height applications
3 1/2" - A popular louver size that offers visibility and light control options
4 1/2" - With wide louvers, this option provides perfect outside visibility and is ideal for large windows
